The objectives of this projects are to introduce principles and procedures of construction process through real life project and also to understand the sequence and coordination of construction at site. Hence, in order to fulfill these objectives, we are required to group ourselves in 10 and have some construction site visit so to understand also the construction process, materials used and technology nowadays.
We went to few construction sites in Kota Damansara and we snapped some pictures there. However, the scoop of the construction does not fulfill the requirements of this project. hence, we shifted our target to one of the site owned by our colleague's father. Although this site, Seri Pristana is located quite a distance from our university, it has, however, all different phasese of construction that we should understand, from an empty land to a show unit.
PROJECT 1 - EXPERIENCING, DOCUMENTATION & ANALYZING CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
From this project, i learnt to produce a complete documentation with pictures, sketches and drawings. I also learnt how to analyse the the construction elements and able to explain them with their components. From the site itself, I also learnt and get contact with the current technology and also machineries used in the construction site. All in all, this project benefits us a lot as we are able to experience the situation at the construction site.
After the distribution of work, me and my small groups were responsible for roof system, doors and windows. Our group attended all the tutorials session as we realized that tutorials are important as we can get feedbacks from the lecturer about our projects. At the final stage, we composed all the works and compiled them into A3 sizes folio, which it can be reviewed from the link below.
