In this project, we were asked to group ourselves in 5 members and to shoose a historical street as our targeted material to study its history, culture and language. After having discussion with my fellow groupmates, we have decided to choose Jonker Street at Malacca in order for us to proceed the project. 

 

As a result, we drove down to Malacca at one of the Saturday. Of course, we took a lots of photos and not to mention, we took the chance and opportunity to try the local foods, and they were so nice, to say the least. 

 

From this project, I learnt how to observe the hidden stories behind the historical street via the locals' daily activities etc. Besides, I also learnt to strespect the others cultures. Moreover, i learnt that there is somehow connections between the culture, history, and architectural languages of the streets and each of them are depending on each others. In other words, none of them shall be forgotten even when the time passes.
