This project required us to understand how the forces are transferred based on different system. Our group was asked to construct a building named Reichstag in Berlin. We were to build this model into proper scale, as well as a pop out detail on the construction of the building. Moreover, we were also needed to submit an A4 booklet together with this model as part of the submission.
PROJECT 2 - UNDERSTAND FORCES IN SOLID STRUCTURES AND SURFACE STRUCTURES
We learnt that the forces are transferred vertically down to the ground. Besides, we also understood that the important of choosing the materials, especially in the surface construction as it may affect the rigidity of the structure.
