This semester, we were brought to Pulau Jerejak, Penang Malaysia for the site visit. We were divided into 4 groups and led by lecturers and rangers as we were needed to walked through the jungle as part of our experience in Pulau Jerejak. We stayed there for 3D2N. There are rumours about this island since decades ago, and hence long before we went to this island, we were anticipated for what will be happened and what will be seen in this island. Besides, we did what we were supposed to do at site, such as doing all the measurements and collecting datas from the local people about the island. Nonetheless, we had fun there and what mattered the most, it did brought the students and lecturers nearer to each other.
PROJECT 2A - GENIUS LOCI : SITE ANALYSIS
From this project, I learnt that it's important to focus on the work that has allocated to us. Even the work sometime seems not as important as others, but it somehow connects other researches done by other groups, and each single details we analyse from the site are important to lead us either to a better or a worse steeping stone especially in carrying forward our projects.
